Our video diary room travelled over 400 miles, via road then sea – to reach the Scilly Isles last week. The Council of the Isles of Scilly used airspace to conduct a major consultation with over 50 young people from all 5 Islands.
Over a period of 3 days; young people felt empowered to share their views and opinions about provisions for young people, Island life and concerns about moving to the mainland.
The footage was edited on our mainland edit suite; and the results helped to inform and influence the youth service plans for the next 3 years.
Simon, Ryan and Joes recorded their remarkable journey and when our edit suite quietens down, we’ll cut together and share the behind the scene’s documentary here.
