SHORT CUTS FILM FESTIVAL

Cliff Productions launched Buckinghamshire’s first ever short film festival in September 2008 called Short Cuts.

The idea for the festival was born when Cllr Ray Ghent of Aylesbury Town Council called for organisations to help with the Aylesbury Festival. Producer and Director Darren Cliff quickly came forward with an offer for his film production company to support the festival in some way.

“I saw this as a fantastic opportunity for local filmmakers to showcase their work to the public. My business (Cliff Productions) has supported and nurtured local filmmakers for over 7 years now and I’m a big advocate for the short film medium. Hosting a film festival is something I am excited about and willing to donate my time and energy to for the benefit of the community.” Darren Cliff
